The Final Straw.....

This is the letter I wrote to Fine Art America a couple weeks ago. It was a final plea for someone to get back to me with an answer to a simple (I thought) question. I took me 30 - 45 minutes of stumbling around their website to find a physical address. Apparently not even THAT is accurate information.

I have tried emailing their so-called "technical support" several times. I never had the courtesy of a reply. I tried calling their "customer support" number. All I got from that was "I can't help you. You need to email "tech support," as they don't have a direct phone line."

All I have ever had from this "Art Service / Market" are excuses, and their "We don't give a damn" attitude. I never sold anything there.

After getting this letter back, I just closed my account there. I am DONE with Fine Art America / Pixels! After my experience(s) with them, I cannot in good conscience EVER recommend them or their "services."

In other news.... I just spent the last 2 days battling computer issues. For some reason my main computer decided to throw a tantrum / hissy-fit with a few of the several USB external drives I have attached. And of course a couple of them are 10TB drives I have all my Poser stuff living on.

After tracing most of the 9 billion cables on the back side of my desk, (well, it FELT like that many) squirming around on my back on the floor like a large bald caterpillar, flashlight in my mouth trying to figure out what goes where, I finally tracked it down. I have a 10-port USB hub back there, and for some reason a couple cable connectors had worked loose. No idea how THAT happened. Oh, well... It's working now, so I need to get back to work on several projects.

I spent the other half of today working in the wilderness that passes as my back yard. I want this place to look at least halfway decent when we put it on the market. Soon, I hope. Still lots of work to do.

That's all for now. Catch ya on the next update! Thanks for stopping by!
